Hiroyuki Sanada to appear in final season of Lost

Japan Today reports that actor Hiroyuki Sanada, 49, will be appearing in the final and 6th season of the popular American TV series “Lost.” He will play “Dogen,” an important character that holds the key to the story of the final season, producers said, adding that the part has been especially written for Sanada.

I am a huge fan of Lost. This will be an interesting season seeing how all the missing puzzles fit in together. Anyone know how long will it be till this is shown on Australian TV?

Known for his role as 'Sawyer' in the hit show Lost, Josh Holloway and his wife Yessica Kumala celebrate the birth to their baby girl on Thursday 9th April in Oahu, Hawaii. They named her Java Kumala Holloway. The new parents are thrilled as reported by People magazine.

Josh married his long time girlfriend in October 2004 who is a native Indonesian.

Having hot looking parents like Josh and Yessica, baby Java will grow up to be very beautiful!

Vietnam to remake Hit Korean TV series "Full House"

Actress Minh Hang, star of the blockbuster film Giai Cuu Than Chet (Saving the Angel of Death), and heartthrob Luong Manh Hai will co-star for the first time in the television series Full House, recreating the roles of Song Hye-kyo and pop star Rain in the South Korean series.

"The Korean series was a big hit on the small screen in Viet Nam in 2005," said a representative of Viet Studio. "So we decided to buy the rights from KBS."The Vietnamese version of the series will be scripted and directed by Vu Ngoc Dang, who is coming off the recent hit series "Tropical Snow" and "Suddenly Want to Cry".

The script will adhere to the storyline of the original but add nine more episodes, according to Dang. Hang was chosen to play the lead based on her work in "Saving the Angel of Death". She is also known as the singer of the song Walking Around the World."I like this role very much and agreed to take it despite the pressure of being under the enormous shadow of Song Hye-kyo," said Hang. She said she was confident she could stamp the role with her own creativity.

Singers Lam Truong and Thuy Tien will also appear in Full House in supporting roles. Truong will be doing his first acting after receiving mixed reviews five years ago for his work in director Le Hoang’s Thief of Hearts. In addition to appearing in the series, singer Thuy Tien will write music for the show. Her most recent songs were for the movie "Beautiful to the Last Centimetre", also directed by Dang. Production on the series begins next month, with its broadcast to begin on Viet Nam Television in July.

Underbelly actor back washing windows

Remember him? He's a former Home & Away actor Dieter Brummer. I saw him in Underbelly the other night but couldn't pic out where he was from.

After returning from a 10-year break to play a copper in Underbelly 2: A Tale Of Two Cities, the former Home & Away stud has returned to being a "construction maintenance worker", aka window-washer. The occasional actor says he doesn't mind his blue-collar "plan B". "The good part about it is I don't have to deal with people too much," Brummer said. "If I was pulling beers I would have to put up with guys saying: 'Oh you're pulling beers now and you used to be in Underbelly."

The moral of the story is if you're a male actor from Home & Away you'd end up washing windows but if you're a female actor from the same show you end up with a Hollywood movie and a music album. No? You don't agree?
