Kim Ha Neul as a spy in "7th Grade Civil Servant"
Kim Ha Neul and Kang Ji Hwan will star alongside in a new spy romance movie titled 7th Grade Civil Servant.
The story is about a pair of lovers Kim and Kang who don't really know the real identity of their partner. When their relationship fail, the pair reunites to work on the same assignment this is when they each found out aboout the other person's identity. (Sounds similar to Mr & Mrs Smith except for Mr & Mrs Smith are assasins instead of spies)
Kim Ha Neul is a spy agent, her abilities covering all aspects, including disguise, inflitration, tracking etc. While on the otherhand, Kang Ji Hwan plays a new agent with absolutely no real experience.
This "action" romance movie is set to hit the screen on the 23rd of April.

Fiona Yuen (33) and Canadian Restaurant owner Anthony tied the knot and held their Wedding banquet at Deep Water Bay's golf and country club. There were 20 tables arranged and guests were served with western cusines. The venue arrangement ideas were made by the bride and had a rome style feel to it. Bill Chan (Shek Sau) perfomed the saxophone and piano. While Fiona sang a love song to her husband. The atmosphere was very warm.

Ngoc Diem and Hoàng Yến nominated to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2009

The company Hoan Vu Viet Nam has earned the right to appoint candidates to represent Vietnam to participate in the Miss Universe contest in August 2009 in the Bahamas. Miss Vietnam 2008 first runner up Hoàng Yen and Miss Tourism Vietnam 2008 Ngoc Diem were both nominated to represent Vietnam. The final decision however will rest with the Miss Universe Board to choose either of the two nominated contestant to represent Vietnam.
Miss Tourism Ngoc Diem is currently a student completion her final year in Bachelor of Commerce.
Miss Vietnam (runner up 1) Hoang Yen is a model, she was nominated to represent Vietnam in Miss World 2008 but lost Duong Truong Thiên Lý.

Kwon Sang Woo and Yoona (Girl Generation group)I hated that hair style on Lee Min Ho and now the handsome oppa Kwon Sang Woo ("Stairway to heaven" and "Story sadder than sadness") has to perm his hair to look like Lee Min Ho. Why why...???
KSW and Yoona (pic) are currently filming their new drama "Cinderalla Man" the title of this drama is the same as the Russell Crowe movie but I am not sure if this is a remake of the original film. Nevertheless, I know I won't be watching this drama by KSW. I can't stand the hair there is no way I would enjoy watching.
This is simply just bad taste oppa!! Very disappointed!

What's Buzzing in Korean Entertainment This Week?
Beauty Han Ye-seul in a press conference yesterday (March 26) at Seoul’s Silla Hotel said that she had audition for a role in a Hollywood project and is waiting for the result. According to her Sidus HQ rep, she received calls from Hollywood production companies about two months ago, and sent over tapes and video as audition material.
Han Ye-seul was recently spotted hanging out with Keife Sutherland from the hit show 24. Photos below taken at the Dreamworks animiated movie Monsters & Aliens promotion. Han lend her voice in the movie.

Sonija Kwok attacked by Indonesian maid
Sonija Kwok at a press conference today (March 25)TVB actress Sonija Kwok at a press conference today told reporters that she was attacked by her house maid of Indonesian background, the incident happened yesterday (March 24) at her home. She explained that the maid pulled her hair, bit her arm and held a knife to her neck.
Sonija explained that she and her mother had to struggle with the maid until the police came and took the maid away. She (Sonija Kwok) was then rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital for medical checkup including a blood test and vaccination.

The former Miss Hong Kong said to the press that the maid went wild when she received a text message from (allegedly) her boyfriend wanting to break up with her. After receiving the message the maid went mad and starting to pull a knife from the kitchen (not sure why she got the knife). Sonija saw the maid holding a knife she began talking to her and convinced her to let the knife go. Tthe maid then heard Sonijia on the phone calling the police she then started her wild attack.
The maid is now in a pychatric hospital for monitoring by doctors

Underbelly actor back washing windows
Dieter Brummer Remember him? He's a former Home & Away actor Dieter Brummer. I saw him in Underbelly the other night but couldn't pic out where he was from.
After returning from a 10-year break to play a copper in Underbelly 2: A Tale Of Two Cities, the former Home & Away stud has returned to being a "construction maintenance worker", aka window-washer. The occasional actor says he doesn't mind his blue-collar "plan B". "The good part about it is I don't have to deal with people too much," Brummer said. "If I was pulling beers I would have to put up with guys saying: 'Oh you're pulling beers now and you used to be in Underbelly."
The moral of the story is if you're a male actor from Home & Away you'd end up washing windows but if you're a female actor from the same show you end up with a Hollywood movie and a music album. No? You don't agree?

TVB yesterday arranged 12 of their most popular artistes at Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) to promote this year grand production series "Gate Of Wealth and Beyond The Realm Of Conscience".

"Beyond The Realm Of Conscience" casts, Charmaine Sheh, Tavia Yeung, Michelle Yim, Suzanna Kwan, Kevin Cheng, and Moses Chan wore beautiful ancient costumes and appeared in the event. Last year, Michelle Yim who played “Hung Yi” evil role in Moonlight Resonance became the topic of the town and this year, TVB planned to boost up “Lo Lui” Tavia Yeung to have leading position and they arranged for her to stand at the middle of big poster.
In the series, Tavia Yeung plays the role of a palace maid that takes a crooked road in order to become an imperial concubine and will always find chances to aim against her senior, Michelle Yim, Suzanna Kwan, and Charmaine Sheh. She will not hesitate to kill any women in the palace and her appearance always look mean. Tavia said, “I will have a lot of evil inner acting and eyes expressions in the series. I really have to learn from “Mai Gei” and “Kuk Je”.”
Meanwhile, Charmaine Sheh and Kevin Cheng who have already announced that they will “get back together” in this series, almost did not have any contact during the event. Only when the host said that “if they couldn’t be together in real life, hope that they can be together in the series,” both of them immediately looked at each other and laughed. They really have same understanding.

This series is the collaboration between China stars Qiao Zhen Yu (who is nicknamed Kevin Cheng lookalike). I don't think he looks anything like Kevin. Kevin is much much better looking.
I wonder why these artistes go to China for series role, isn't TVB giving them enough roles. It is probably no surpise if this is the reason why Niki goes to China, you'd probably notice that Charmaine Sheh is the company favourite she seems to get all the good roles these days.

Two years imprisonment for ex-Judge
Former Judge Marcus Einfeld Australian former Federal Court judge, 70 years old Marcus Einfeld was sentenced to two years jail for perversing the course of justice. The story was... back in 2006 he was issued with a speeding ticket for A$77 and when questioned he said that the driver of the car at the time was his friend Teresa Brennan, whom he knew died a few years ago. His action was so disgraceful that Justice Bruce James said it is "deliberate, premeditated perjury" and "calculating criminality" and sentenced Einfeld to two years behind bars.
In a public plea for forgiveness, Einfeld said that he's sorry for his action and audaciously argue that he's not a dishonest man. "No, I'm not dishonest, no... I don't think I'm the slightest bit dishonest. I just made a mistake."
"I lied," he told ABC's Four Corners program to be aired on Monday night. "I can't say it any simpler than that. I told a lie, which was a disgraceful thing to do and for which I have been paying ever since. I'm desperately sorry for what I did. I'm sorry to my family, my elderly mother and my children. I'm sorry to the public at large because they have been my audience over the years."
He's saying that he's not a dishonest man but admit that he's a liar. Ummm I think this guy is very confuse, to me lying is dishonest. Wouldn't you agree?

Bing Bang is splitting up??

Korean boy band Big Bang is splitting but only temporary. The boys are splitting for half a year so that they can go on and do their own things.
I have only just started listening to their music and I must say they have very good voices. Truthfully I don't understand any Korean and more often than not I just listen to the tunes and if it's catchy then I am fan. One of my favourites is the song "we belong together".
TOP, apparently is a top rapper. He is said to be taking on acting and will appear in the drama "I am Sam" and "IRIS" along side Lee Byung Hun & Kim Tae Hee.
You would think as singers in a band when you decided to go your own way you would take on the challenge of singing solo. Why on earth did TOP decide to go into acting is beyond me. Nevertheless, I must give him the benefit of the doubt until I see first hand his acting ability before making any judgement.
The other members of the band apparently is going solo. Let's hope they each bring out some good quality music.

Court ordered Rain and Managers pay A$8M for breach of contract
Looking confident, Rain on the way to court on March 17South Korean pop singer Rain and his managers have been ordered by Honolulu court to pay the promoter of his Rain's Coming US Tour the amount of US$5 million (A$7.3 million) for cancelling his concert which was scheduled for June 15, 2007 in Honolulu.
The jury found that Rain has defrauded Click Entertainment Inc. and order Rain to pay for damages.
