Hong Kong singer-actor Nicholas Tse has announced that he will not release future albums and will take a break from singing. His ten-year contract with Emperor Entertainment Group has just ended CNA reported.
His comment was "Previously one had to sell several hundred thousand albums in order to hold a concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum. These days, some singers gain fame over one hit song on an album and announce the very next day that they are having a concert. I am unable to accomplish the same if this is what it takes to survive,"
Sounds like he's disappointed with the music industry probably not getting recognised as much as the new comers so he has decided to take a break from it all. He is currently filming a movie call "Hot Summer Day" with Jacky Cheung and Daniel Wu in Hong Kong. Perhaps filming movie is his new ambition.
