Popular boy band Super Junior visited Vietnam for the first time over the weekend to take part in a concert by music channel MTV, according to their agency SM Entertainment on Wednesday.
The K-pop idols were invited to the 'MTV EXIT' held Saturday at the Hanoi My Dinh Stadium to represent global musicians, performing for the finale of the event attended by over 45,000 music fans.
The boy group performed their hit songs including "Sorry Sorry," "It's You," "Rukkugo" and "Full of Happiness."
The following day, Super Junior members Lee Teuk and Donghae visited a women's shelter in Hanoi to console victims of human rights violation.
'MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking),' co-sponsored by MTV and international aid groups USAID and AusAID, was held to create awareness regarding violation of human rights among the young generation.
Other special guests at the concert included Australian singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke and famous Vietnamese singers.
Super Junior made their debut in 2005 under talent power house SM Entertainment. They have released numerous singles and albums in Korea, as well as becoming popular in other regions throughout Asia.
'MTV EXIT' will be broadcast throughout Vietnam while Super Junior's performance and visit to the shelter will air on MTV Korea in mid-April.
